How To Use This Guide

There are two sections to this prayer guide. First there is “Praying With Your Family.” Each day you will be encouraged to pray scripture. The best way to make this experience meaningful is to first read the passage in your Bible and then read over the prayer in the guide. After reading you will always be prompted to underline any phrases that have particular meaning to you. Ask yourself what it means to you and how it can be used in your life. This is meant to take about 10-15 minutes to read and discuss.

The second section is entitled “Praying For Your Family” and is divided into three areas, Praying for Your Wife, Praying for Your Husband, and Praying for Your Children / Grandchildren. There is a very specific request for each day. However, you are free and even encouraged to add other specific requests as you pray.

Things To Make This Experience More Meaningful

1. Set a regular time for each day.
2. Make sure everyone has a Bible to follow along while reading.
3. Keep a prayer journal that would include prayer requests and even things you talked about of out God’s Word.
4. If you miss a day, don’t quit!
